The traditional high street races are back by popular demand!
HIGH STREET RACES
ADULTS SANTA RELAY RACE
This year, we are inviting all local runners to enter a Santa’s Relay Race, where you will be adding bits of the costume on each lap of the race and then run towards the finish line as a fully dressed Santa.
Participants must be 18 or over.
The race will take place on the High Street at 14:00.
Individuals will need to sign in with our organiser at 13:45 on the day on the High Street opposite WJ Bennett. No need for pre-registrations.
CHILDREN'S CHRISTMAS PUDDING RACE
Following the success of last year’s pudding race, we are inviting children and young people to enter a team in this year’s children’s pudding race.
Children need to join in a team of four contestants.
The race will take place on the High Street at about 14:00
Teams will need to sign in with our organiser at 13:45 on the day on the High Street opposite WJ Bennett. No need for pre-registrations.
We encourage the teams to dress up and embrace this year’s theme of 'Toyland'.
